Amanda lives to dance, move and teach. She has studied dance since the age of five and Pilates since the age of 12. Amanda now holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts, in Seattle, and is pursuing a Physical Therapy Assistant degree from the University of St. Catherine’s in St. Paul. Her Pilates credentials include a STOTT PILATES® Level II Mat and Level I Reformer and Total Barre® Certifications. Amanda’s intellect, sparkling personality and quick wit, along with her passion make her a favorite dance teacher at several local dance schools. Since completing her BFA she has trained and performed as a company dancer with Threads Dance Company and the James Sewell Ballet, as an understudy. She continues to train for the day when professional dance returns to the stage. When she is not studying, training as a professional dancer or teaching dance and Pilates she enjoys the peace of the outdoors, reading, reading, reading and spending time with friends and family.
