Mitch grew up doing Pilates with his Mom but didn't develop his own practice until 10 years ago after a back and hip injury. He is a firm believer that Pilates is the key to health and wellness and uses it as the foundation for a "work hard, play harder" lifestyle. Pilates helps him live life to its fullest without injury; from backflips on his airchar, skiing mountains of powder or lakes of glass, to even making the All-American pistol team during his undergrad. When not off adventuring, he’s busy researching at the University of Utah while working on a PhD in mechanical engineering. His area of focus is head impacts and bone fracture patterns in children. He shares his wonderful life with his beautiful wife Lindsey who not only supports all the crazy but loves to join in. His training happened through Balanced Body Pilates and he also inherited an emphasis on rehabilitation from his trainer/Mom. He’s excited to share his own style of classical movement crossed with athletic Pilates with our members.
