Melanie Danza

Melanie Danza has been involved in the fitness industry for over 30 years. At “Women’s Wellness” a division of NYU Medial Center in New York City she counseled women on the fundamental need of exercise and how to successfully integrate it in to their lives. It was at NYU that she conceived of the idea of Women For Fitness, a full service health club for women which she owned and operated for 12 years in Westchester County New York. Melanie has taught many modalities of exercise. She was an original member of the Step Reebok Training team and traveled the world teaching Step aerobics. Through numerous venues she has spent a lifetime dedicated to guiding her students toward living healthy, fulfilling and powerful lives. Since 2005 her passion for Pilates has been her focus. Melanie was trained and certified through the late Romana Kryzanowska, one of Joseph Pilates’ devoted students and protégés. She recently moved to Florida from Connecticut. She lives with her husband John and Poodle puppy Ellie.
