Stacie was born and raised in Okla. She was diagnosed with Scoliosis at the age of 8, and at that time
started Physical Therapy to help prevent bracing. Little did she know was that all her corrective exercises
were Pilates! Stacie went on to be involved in athletics all her life. Growing up it was Basketball; she
went on to play in College and later to coach her own girls at the beginner’s level. After College, she got
involved in the Group Fitness industry, taking all kinds of classes, and then instructing. In 2003, she,
along with her husband Derek and their two daughters, Bella & Jolie moved from California to Colorado to
open a children’s fun and fitness center.
Stacie found Pilates in 2014, when her youngest daughter was diagnosed with Scoliosis. At that time,
she was able to see how Pilates helped to heal the body and in February of 2017, after a running injury,
she started practicing in her own body and was hooked! She started her instructor training through Balanced
Body shortly after in June of 2017 and received her certification through the PMA.
She has always wanted to help people, and now feels her journey is to share with others the amazing benefits of Pilates!
