Andrea Tower was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. At an early age, she began to dance and study ballet at her local dance studio. She continued her dance education at the College of Marin, participating in over twenty-five dance concerts and outreach programs. After finishing her dance education at the College of Marin, she moved to New York City to pursue her dance career. Andrea received a scholarship to attend Alvin Ailey school of dance in a summer intensive program where she studied modern, ballet, yoga, and Pilates. It was then that she found her love of Pilates. After four years of living and dancing professionally in New York, she moved to Arizona with her fiancés and landed a job with Desert Dance Theatre. Andrea got her training in Pilates with Virginia Nicholas at Moving Breath Pilates Studio and completed her training with Core Dynamic in 2003. After receiving her 450-hour certificate, Andrea and her husband decided to move to Mississippi to be closer to family. She owned and operated a Pilates studio in Vicksburg, MS, but after 15 years of being in business, she decided to reach out and pursue other opportunities. Currently, Andrea is enrolled in the Lolita Legacy program to become a Master Trainer to further her insight into Pilates. Recently, she graduated with A.A.S. in Medical Data (coding), received her 200-hour Yoga certification, and is part of the Yoga Alliance and the PMA/NCPT. She is married and has two children: eldest Anastasia and her youngest, Kamron.
