Chelse was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. Sports and fitness was engrained into her life at an early age when she started playing competitive softball. It was through her competitive softball journey that she fell in love with health and fitness. She continued to workout with a trainer while attending Colorado State University but was suffering from knee, back and neck pain. It wasn’t until years later that she started Pilates when she moved to Denver and met a friend who had been doing it for years.
The first time she tried Pilates she instantly fell in love. The fact that she could get a whole body workout in 50 minutes at the same time as freeing her mind to connect with her body was a new an invigorating experience. She started attending Pilates regularly which helped immensely with her neck, back and knee pain. She was seeing such great results and wanted to help others achieve the same thing so she decided to become a certified instructor. She has been teaching for close to two years and is passionate about delivering results in a safe environment. She obtainer her 500 hour certification from RTR Pilates and continually works to further her education. She recently received her TRX certification and is working on becoming a Master Trainer through Club Pilates. She loves to camp, hike, snowshoe, kayak, snowboard and do anything outdoors. She spends her weekends in Summit County with her boyfriend and golden doodle enjoying Colorado to its fullest. She also loves challenging herself with new and different fitness activities because she feels that it makes her a better Pilates Instructor.
