Leah has LOVED fitness and sports since she can remember! Fifteen years sitting in the workplace, sports injuries including a major knee reconstruction, and a car accident ultimately led her to Pilates. Through her Pilates practice, she's drastically reduced muscle imbalances in her own body, improved alignment, increased both her strength and flexibility along with enjoying the work in mind-body connection. Leah hopes to share what she's learned and support members alike through creative class flows that improve how you feel, move, rest, and PLAY in your daily lives!:-)
Leah earned a Life Sciences Biology Degree and Physical Therapy Assistant Certification, worked in fitness centers as well as D1/D2 collegiate training rooms. She also worked as a PTA in hospitals facilitating care plans primarily with total hip, total knee, stroke and diabetic wound care patients. Leah also worked for a Fortune 500 Healthcare Marketing/Sales Team before returning to her human movement passions inspiring her to earn her Club Pilates, Pilates Teacher Certification.
Leah loves practicing Pilates & taking group fitness classes as well as attending workshops to grow her knowledge. She also loves spending time with her hubby, 2 kids, dog, family and/or friends hiking, paddleboarding, and snowshoeing. She enjoys volunteering at her kid's schools and/or coaching her kiddos sports teams too!
