Cathy became passionate for Pilates ever since she took her first Mat class and discovered her back pain was starting to decrease. In 2011, she decided to study Pilates as another career in her life and completed the Comprehensive Program with “Balanced Body”, which includes Mat, Reformer, Chair, Tower, and Barrels modules. She started to share her knowledge as a Pilates Instructor in Panama, while her husband executed a project in the new Panama Canal. During this time, she had wonderful experiences with different kinds of students/clients, from beginner fitness levels to people training for IronMan triathlons. She strongly believes that Pilates can change people's lives, by the full-body movement and integration: mind, body, and spirit. In her classes, she usually focuses on Breathing and Centering to develop a strong core and get precision in each exercise. She is always committed to making people feel healthier and happier at the end of the class. Cathy is from Venezuela and just moved from Chicago, where she was fortunate to teach in another Club Pilates studio! She is convinced that Club Pilates is always her happy place. When she is not teaching, she loves to do Pilates and continues to learn from other instructors. She is the mom of one girl and one boy and always enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys biking, going to the beach, gardening, and visiting new places in Texas. She really feels blessed by being part of the Club Pilates family!
