Staying active and keeping fit has always been an integral part of Brittany’s life. When Brittany began her personal Pilates practice, she was attracted to the total mind/body focus that the exercise demanded. She believes that one of the biggest benefits of Pilates is its emphasis on core strength and body control. “I love how Pilates is literally for all bodies, and the fact that every exercise can be modified or progressed.”
Brittany completed a comprehensive teacher training program through Club Pilates. She is certified in Mat Pilates, on the Reformer, Springboard, Trapeze Table/Cadillac, Chair, Spine Corrector, Ladder Barrel, Magic Circle, and in TRX Suspension Training. “I was three months postpartum when I began teacher training. I was amazed at how quickly it helped me get back in shape, and how much it improved my balance and coordination.”
Prior to becoming a Pilates instructor, Brittany attended Hutchison School, The University of Memphis and Lees McRae College.
Brittany is from Collierville, Tennessee, where she lives on a family horse farm. When Brittany is not in the studio, she enjoys spending time with her one year old son and her family, helping care for the animals on the farm and riding horses.
Brittany truly loves sharing her passion for Pilates with clients. Whether you are looking for a challenging workout, want to focus on a particular goal, or you have never tried Pilates before and want to know what it is all about, she strives to be your partner in your Pilates workout to make it the best experience possible. “I love getting to know the clients and helping them to achieve and exceed their goals. I strive to always give clients a challenging and rewarding session by focusing on form, fun and hard work."
