Meet George, our newest instructor to the Club Pilates family. He is energetic and motivational with an infectious smile. He has over two decades of experience in the fitness industry as a personal trainer. He is certified through PTA Global Fitness and Club Pilates Teacher Training. He has also completed courses in suspension training, kettlebell and functional work which is where his passion lies. His approach to training stems from the fundamentals of functional training which replicated movements of daily life.
His appreciation for the Pilates method and its correlation to functional training is evident in the way he trains and teaches. It comes across through his motivation, knowledge and innovative workouts. Having been exposed to Pilates and discovering its benefits for every single body, he hopes to engage more men and educate them the benefits of Pilates. We all know “real” men do Pilates! He loves teaching TRX Suspend and his favorite Pilates move is the “Teaser.” He loves Pilates other forms of fitness because you use more of our core while maintaining form. He says it’s not easy but fun! He joined Club Pilates for the energy level and the personal connection with the members. It’s like an extended family. Besides, Pilates, he enjoys biking and cooking breakfast. He’s a self-proclaimed pancake expert!
