Kim has been practicing Pilates for over 10 years and it has always been a form of exercise that she loves and enjoys. As a former corporate accountant for many years, Kim decided to transition and stay home to have a family. She discovered Pilates at a studio in her town and I was intrigued so I began taking classes and loved it. She was instantly hooked and continued taking reformer, tower, chair classes and then moved onto privates. She saw amazing changes in my body and continued practicing Pilates through her third pregnancy.
Since being a stay home mom and not wanting to go back to the corporate world, Kim decided to obtain her Pilates certification to further her education and hopefully share her love of Pilates with others as an instructor. She obtained her certification with Equinox and with Pilates Academy International.

There are so many fun things to teach in Pilates but my favorite class is Cardio Sculpt. I love the cardio intervals and it is just a fun and upbeat class. I also really enjoy side lying legs on the reformer or standing splits because they are always challenging and I love a good burn. I pretty much love anything leg related! The greatest thing about Pilates is that there is something for everyone and it can be modified for any specific person or issue as well as continue to challenge each individual. What I love about Club Pilates is the variety it offers with apparatus as well as props. You can benefit from Pilates while still enjoying the fitness aspect with Pilates principles in a safe and effective environment. In addition to Pilates, I love to play tennis although I’m not very good. I also love to cook and bake especially for my family so I always need to balance that out with fitness! I have tried many different types of fitness and exercise but always incorporate Pilates since it compliments everything and it always makes me feel great!
