Lauren, has been teaching Pilates in NYC for over 10 years. She took one pilates class 10 years ago and came out walking differently, at that moment she knew Pilates was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life, personally and professionally. She believes movement awareness and a strong mind-body connection are the key elements in reducing stress, feeling energized and creating and keeping the healthy body you love and deserve. In class, she places a strong emphasis on breathing as a key to mastering the principles of Pilates (concentration, centering, control, precision, fluidity) and for its ability to energize the body while assisting in the execution of the exercises. She is known for her playful and supportive teaching style, strong knowledge of anatomy, alignment and all around health. Her vivid imagery and positive feedback help inspire students to achieve their strengths.
