Lora received her Comprehensive Pilates Training from Polestar Pilates. Lora grew up in the Chicago Area and she spent most of her career as a mom and a Human Resources Professional. From a young age, she’s utilized exercise as a form of physical and mental therapy. Lora and her family moved to Colorado in 2011 when she became an active member of a CrossFit gym, in addition to running half marathons. After she was diagnosed with lupus, thoracic outlet syndrome and hip tears, and with the guidance of a physical therapist, Lora used Pilates to rehabilitate from injuries and to sustain her fitness level. She wanted to learn more about this practice and how it impacts the body, therefore she went through comprehensive training for it through Polestar, which focuses on the rehabilitation side of Pilates. With the support of her husband and her two sons, she recently shifted careers and became a Pilates Instructor to provide people, of all backgrounds, with a positive movement experience. In her spare time, Lora enjoys hiking, biking, playing golf, and paddle boarding with her friends and family.
