Kat holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia and has been working as a fitness professional for 15 years. From teaching step aerobics, bootcamps, and indoor cycling classes, to working one on one with private clients ranging from 16 to 80 years of age, Kat has a wide range of skills and knowledge that she loves to share with others. The birth of her first child was the catalyst for Kat to explore the world of Pilates and its rehabilitative and strengthening nature. Experiencing the changes in her body postpartum is what has kept her an advocate of the Pilates method. When Kat's not in the studio, she's spending time with her husband, two children, and dog outdoors, or at home writing, painting or crafting with her cat curled up next to her!
