Jillian first started Pilates at the suggestion of her physical therapist when recovering from a shoulder injury. After her first class, she was immediately hooked! Jillian loves the creativity and mind-body connection inherent in Pilates, and found it to be incredibly healing for her shoulder issues. As a former dancer, Jillian was also driven to Pilates’ unique focus on both stability and mobility, and the fact that it incorporates moves from yoga, dance, and more. As Jillian started to take 4+ classes a week, she became more interested in Pilates’ potential to help people on a wide variety of fitness journeys, and signed up for teacher training. Jillian's personal teaching motto is that Pilates is for every body type, and she focuses on creating fun, challenging, and safe flows for everyone!
