Pam Wright
Instructor
Pam has been a Pilates student long before she became an instructor. Fascinated by Pilates since the 1990s, she was frustrated that the only options available in the area were either mat-only classes in local gyms or private sessions in a studio. When Club Pilates opened in 2018, she said it felt like a much-needed solution in the industry. Multi-apparatus classes, with experienced instructors, in a friendly setting had finally become accessible to Williamsburg! Her goal is to teach flows that are accessible for every body, challenging for all ranges and most of all, ENJOYABLE for everyone in the room.
“I love Pilates for its combination of strength training, stretching and full-body movement, without undue pressure on my joints and lower back. It feels great for my 50+ body and I always leave feeling stronger, more capable, and definitely more chill than when I walked in!”
Pam is originally from Connecticut but has lived in Williamsburg for over 20 years. She has two adult children with her husband Mark, who is a Williamsburg native and permanent fixture around town. When not in the studio, she’s probably traveling to a concert (preferably country) or a car show (preferably exotics).
