Christie completed a 500 hour program with Balanced Body and is comprehensively certified. She also participated in an apprenticeship program with a highly esteemed master trainer that included an additional 100 teaching hours and 50 hours of course work. While attending Salem State University pilates became a major part of her daily fitness regime. She began her teacher training in order to help her husband regain mobility after a procedure left him in a wheelchair with a neurological condition. That is when she fell in love with helping others through pilates and was able to see the positive physical and mental impact pilates has on the human healing process. She has also furthered her education by completing workshops in Pre/Post Natal Pilates, Exercising with Scoliosis, Core Control, Forward Head, Pilates to Facilitate Neuroplasticity, Myofascial Release for Pilates Instructors, Pilates for Neurological Disorders, MOTR Training, and The Janda Approach to Gait Control. Christie also completed the Balanced Body Barre training program as well and is TRX certified.
