Liz Bejm'a Bio
Liz began taking Pilates in 2002 and from the beginning was amazed by what the Pilates Method does for the body and mind. She has always been physically active with dancing, running, and yoga, but Pilates opened up a whole new outlook for her on exercise and the importance of core strength. Liz decided that she wanted to share this incredible method with others by becoming a certified Pilates Instructor. In 2004 she began training under Master Teacher Romana Kryzanowska in New York, a protégé of Joseph Pilates and Master Teacher Janice Dulak in Champagne, IL. With over 600 hours of training and observation Liz was certified through Romana’s Pilates in 2005. Since then, Liz has had the pleasure of teaching full time for over 10 years to many different clients of all levels including training Division 1 high school athletes as well as aspiring professional ice skaters. Aside from being a dedicated teacher she has remained a loyal student of the practice attending many workshops and seminars, as well as practicing the method daily. After having twins in 2014 she understands the importance of prenatal and postnatal Pilates and how much Pilates has kept her strong and agile running after two toddlers. She feels grateful to have found Pilates and looks forward to sharing her knowledge in a fun and challenging way to all of the new faces at Club Pilates!
