Christine D began practicing Pilates as a way to stay in shape and prepare for a knee replacement. She loved the way Pilates made her feel, reiterating how safe and effective all of the exercises are for our bodies.
Christine is a graduate of the Club Pilates teacher training program, with certified training in the Reformer, Chair, Springboard, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel and Spine corrector apparatuses. Her goal in teaching is to help people understand how and what it is to move their body in a safe way
and feel good while doing it and to help them continue to be learners about their own bodies, and have
fun at the same time.
Christine has a BS degree from Drake University, and a MEd degree from the University of
Minnesota. She holds a E-RYT® 500, YACEP® yoga certification with additional certifications
in Adaptive Yoga training, Yin Yoga, Hot Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Restorative Yoga.
Christine is available for private training and works with all levels of students, including those needing modifications due to injury and clients with physical and cognitive limitations.
