Hello! My name is Grace Valega and I am originally from Oklahoma, but made my way up to the great state of Arizona after my first year of college. I grew up dancing competitively all the way through high school and loved every minute of it. The importance of cross training became very evident to me as I entered college and began pursuing a major in dance performance. After dancing anywhere between 6-8 hours a day, I knew I needed to find a form of exercise that complimented my dance career. Pilates enhanced my skills as a dance major and it changed my life completely. My body felt physically healthier, leaner, & stronger after this change. I was more capable of doing the things that were asked of me as a dancer, as well as feeling happier after each session. I began my teaching journey in college during a required course and was told I had an honest niche for it. This is when I knew I had found my passion. Pilates for me allows me to make a difference in people's lives in the way that I always wanted to. Not only will it transform someone physically, but it will allow them to reach a huge positive revision for their overall mind-body connection. I love getting to be a part of someone’s goals and being a helping hand along the way as they achieve them. After spending some time in Chicago, I took a huge leap of faith to move back to Arizona and Yvette and Keith were my saving graces. The CP family that I have joined here is the best Pilates community I have ever had the blessing to be a part of. I look forward to sharing my passion with the sweetest clients for many years to come!
