Hello my name is Kay Wendle. I have been involved in Pilates for over 20 years. I have been certified through Peak Pilates since 2014. I started practicing myself when I was doing triathlons and needed a compliment to the pounding I was putting my body through. One of my favorite things to witness is having a client that never thinks they are going to be able to do a move and when they are able to overcome their doubt and master something new how exciting it is for them. My teaching style took a turn a few years ago when my husband and I were on a bike ride and he was hit by a car. We first were told he would not make it through the night and once he did they told us he would never walk again. We showed them wrong. We spent a very long time when there was little he could do but get on the Pilates equipment we have in our home to help his rehabilitation. Since then he has done triathlons and run a marathon. I love being able to make a difference in someone's life, whatever their needs and goals. Outside of Pilates I enjoy hiking, running and swimming. I still ride bike and love to use my bike as a mode of transportation but no longer ride on the road. I look forward to getting to know everyone and helping you on your journey.
