I discovered Pilates in 2002 after moving out of the country and realized my morning runs were no longer an option. I purchased a reformer and studied Joseph Pilates and his method. I fell in love with Pilates! After a year of self practice, I began taking private lessons with a former Austrian ballerina who was classically trained and 2nd Generation Master Pilates Teacher certified. I gained a deep appreciation for what Pilates can do for your mind and body through blending low impact strength training and breath connection for full body fitness. I completed Mat certification through Power Pilates and my comprehensive Pilates certification through Club Pilates. I am working towards achieving my PMA certification in 2020. Outside of Pilates, I enjoy traveling, hiking and most of all spending time with my family.
