Beth’s passion for functional fitness led her to become certified as a Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in 2007. While continuing her career in Human Resources, she volunteered her time working with seniors on improving their strength, balance and coordination. An avid hiker, Beth took up running in 2009. In 2011, she achieved her a goal of completing a half marathon in each of the 12 months. Aggravating a low back injury and developing hip issues from high mileage running, Beth discovered the Pilates method. Through Pilates, Beth improved her core strength, flexibility, and postural alignment. She has turned her personal passion for functional fitness and Pilates into a 2nd career. In 2018, Beth became certified Pilates Instructor. She teaches classes and works one on one with private clients supporting them in their fitness and health goals.
