Julie started practicing Pilates to regain strength after major surgery. She tried many fitness programs and found that Pilates is the most effective system. After a career in medical publishing, she opened a Club Pilates in Charlotte, North Carolina. Julie is comprehensively trained and completed teacher training with Power Pilates and Club Pilates. In addition she is a Fitness Mobility Specialist and qualified in the TRX suspension method. Julie has found benefits through continued study and practice. She believes “you don’t age out, you wise up” and finds immense satisfaction in sharing her passion for Pilates with members. Now living in Washington, she teaches at CP Happy Valley and West Linn.
