After teaching for a number of years at the early elementary level in NYC, Colleen moved to NJ to raise her family. Always enthusiastic about her work-outs, Colleen was excited when she found Pilates to add to her work-out routine. She found she connected with Pilates and decided to combine her love of teaching with her love of exercise, and became certified in Reformer based Pilates. A mother of four boys, Colleen found the mind-body connection of Pilates helpful in her day-to-day life with many moving parts. When she’s not teaching you’ll probably find her on the sidelines cheering her boys on in their various sports, or spending time with family and friends.
Inspired by the results Pilates can achieve and how it can benefit you regardless of age, ability and personal circumstances, Rachel trained as a Pilates instructor in London. Since moving to the US last year her passion has grown and she has subsequently certified in Barre, TRX and joined the Club Pilates family.

After 10 years in the Media business, Sarah moved with her husband and kids from the city to the 'burbs, deciding to change her focus to staying home with her young children. Sarah was always an avid athlete, and found that keeping up with fitness helped give her the sanity break she needed. Running became a favorite pastime but something was missing - which she found through Pilates. Not only did Pilates help strengthen Sarah in a way no other exercise has, but it helped her to find a way to connect her love of fitness with her love of helping others. Training to become an instructor was an no brainer! Sarah's classes are upbeat, challenging and always fun - be prepared to work hard and walk out with a smile on your face!
Mae-Lily is joining Club Pilates as an exciting lifestyles change after working in corporate retail in NYC for the past 12 years. She and her husband moved to the area last year before the birth of their adorable son. Mae-Lily first discovered Pilates in college and it has remained a constant bright spot in her life. She received her Mat Pilates teacher certification in 2009 and enjoyed teaching part-time while growing her corporate career. Pilates has helped her rehab and manage lower back injuries, solidifying the Pilates studio as her ‘happy place’. Mae-Lily is delighted to take all that she’s learned in her corporate career and combine it with her passion for the Pilates community and healthy living. She looks forward to providing an exceptional Club Pilates experience to our clients!
Stefanie is a STOTT PILATES Level 1 and Level 2 Certified Instructor and is certified in Injuries & Special Populations. She completed a mentorship in pre and post-natal Pilates and Pilates for athletes with the Kane School. She was most recently Lead Instructor at Club Pilates West New York and also instructed at Club Pilates Hoboken. Prior to working with Club Pilates, she operated her own studio at Cynergy Physical Therapy in NYC.
Stefanie earned her Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialization certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is also certified in Adult CPR and AED by the American Heart Association. She is trained in P3 by The Egoscue Method. Stefanie earned her B.A. at the University of Delaware, where she ran cross country and track, and her M.A. at New York University.
Stefanie is passionate about exercise and helping others, and brings her energy and complete presence to each of her sessions. As a new mom, she is empathetic to how difficult it can be to fit exercise into a hectic lifestyle.
Mary Ellen Greene
Mary Ellen has been a practicing attorney for more than 30 years and has participated in many forms of physical exercise. She first discovered Pilates over 20 years ago, and practiced it off and on through the years until fully embracing it through the Club Pilates model several years ago. After having a total knee replacement and experiencing the amazing knee and full body rehabilitation benefits of Pilates, training to become an instructor was the next logical step. She loves sharing her passion for Pilates and its many restorative benefits, and hopes that every client leaves each class with a smile on their face and feeling better!
After 15 years working in the healthcare industry in New York and Philadelphia, Stephanie moved back to NJ and decided to stay at home with her three young children. Having previously lived in cities that were very walkable, she had a regular workout schedule but struggled to find time for herself in the suburbs and began to feel the effects on her body. Enter Pilates! Feeling a bit out of shape, she was initially drawn to the concept of a total body workout while lying down - but was quickly surprised by how much stronger she was becoming and how her energy was increasing. Pilates soon became a daily addiction, and after a while, becoming an instructor seemed the natural next step. Now Stephanie loves anything on the reformer that doesn’t require lying down and she strives to challenge herself – and her clients – to reach new goals in every class.
Amy “retired” from practicing law when she and her family moved to New Jersey from the south in 2011. She had been predominantly focusing on cardio exercise but wanted something else in her workout routine. A dear friend and Club Pilates instructor encouraged her to try pilates. She fell in love immediately. Further, she was amazed by how quickly the back pain and weakness she suffered from her scoliosis disappeared. Several years later, she was ready for a new career path and the passion she felt for how pilates changed her life was something she wanted to share with others, so she became an instructor. Amy was selected as one of Club Pilates Success Stories of 2019 so go check her out in their marketing campaign. Her southern accent is still strong but don’t let that charm fool you, she will make you burn!
Kari is a life-long Jersey gal, having grown up, attended college (Rutgers University) and currently residing with her husband, young daughter and son, in New Jersey. Kari has worked in the finance industry for 20+ years, including currently as a compliance manager at a mergers acquisition firm. But it is Kari’s true passion for pilates and helping others that attracted her to the Club Pilates team. Kari found pilates 15 years ago and has learned over time that strengthening her core was the key to a healthy lifestyle. Kari teaches with energy and humor to make each workout engaging and personal.
Anita had been interested in various forms of exercise like spinning, yoga, and barre for a while, but was first introduced to Pilates when she started taking mat classes at a local gym. It wasn’t until she took her first reformer class at Club Pilates that she was hooked. It was love at first class! As life can get pretty hectic, Anita loves how Pilates acts as her stabilizing force. It gives her the ability to do other things she enjoys and makes it easier to move through daily life. Pilates enables her to stand taller, have a stronger core, and stay injury free. It also helped her understand the importance of breath work - if you can breathe, you can do just about anything!
If you can’t take care of yourself, you can’t take care of others. Anita wants the Club Pilates studio to be your happy place, as it is hers. Kelly has always been involved in athletics and exercise throughout her life. While raising a family of two sons who wrestle, and a daughter who plays soccer, she continues to train being involved in many different forms of fitness. Kelly is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and is finishing up her certification in Functional Medicine Health Coaching. She has a passion for helping women take back their lives through nutrition, lifestyle and movement. She has been mentored by Patricia Moreno and has completed her IntenSati leadership training. She is also Barre Intensity Certified.
Kelly found Pilates again after some debilitating back issues. She instantly fell in love with the Club Pilates studio and group training approach on the reformer. Cardio Sculpt quickly became one of her favorite classes. She feels that Pilates can help anyone at any stage of their life. Pilates improves your posture and core strength, as well as helps you make a mind body connection. Kelly hopes her unique approach and experience with fitness will help you reach your own unique goals.
