Jenn is a Montana gal having grown up in the small towns of Red Lodge and Hamilton. After graduating from the University of Montana with a degree in education she taught school for three years in Wyoming and Texas. During this time, she began working on her Pilates certification and soon realized that this was her true passion and wanted to pursue it full time. While working at the Club Pilates in Bozeman as an instructor, Jenn challenged herself to become a Master Trainer. While maintaining her classes in Bozeman for the last couple years she has also conducted Pilates instructor trainings as a Master Trainer across the United States. To date, she has mentored and certified approximately 20 new Pilates instructors. Jenn loves her Bozeman members and wants nothing more than to help them grow their physical and mental health through Pilates.
Jennifer is from Charlotte, North Carolina and was first introduced to mat-based Pilates as a complement to her classical ballet training to promote strength, flexibility, balance, and control. Several years later, she graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting and moved to Washington, D.C. to work as a forensic accountant. Seeking an artistic outlet, she became passionate about aerial dance and, once again, turned to Pilates to maintain the strength, flexibility, balance, and control required in her new endeavor. This time, however, she was introduced to the Reformer and was amazed by its functionality and versatility. After her second class, she was asked to become an instructor, and she jumped at the chance to become both a student and a teacher of Pilates. Jennifer earned her Reformer certification and taught Pilates Reformer classes in Washington, D.C. until moving to Bozeman in late 2016. She has instructed group classes and private lessons at Club Pilates since early 2017 and has since earned her certification in TRX Suspension Training. Jennifer loves helping people use the variety of Pilates equipment and tools to train their bodies and minds safely and effectively. She finds nothing more rewarding than observing as clients develop a greater degree of control over their bodies and refine their quality of movement.

She was 63 when she realized she was at the point where she was either going to get up and start moving her body or decline into the aging process. She chose to get herself busy so she would remain vital and useful. She saw an advertisement for Club Pilates and pushed herself to give it a try, and she is so grateful she did! She began with eight classes a month, but three weeks in wanted more and quickly upgraded to an unlimited membership! After just three months, she decided she wanted to become an instructor. After seven months of hard work, she received her certification, and is now a comprehensively certified Pilates Instructor!
