Carla's journey into understanding human movement began in 1995 while attaining her Bachelor degree in Physical Education at the Universidade São Judas Tadeu in São Paulo, Brazil. There, she immersed herself in studying posture and body alignment with a focus on movement. This passion later led to attaining her Pilates certification in 2010. Carla has a profound interest in exploring movement and techniques that allow her clients to experience a better understanding of how they move and how to improve through exercise. After moving to the United States, Carla received her Pilates certification and started working at ONE Physical Therapy and Wellness in Bryn Mawr, PA. As a Pilates instructor, she had the opportunity to work with rehab and post rehab patients in a one-on-one setting to improve their fitness and wellness goals. Carla's own history of orthopedic injuries moved her to pursue a more therapeutic approach to teaching movement. After leaving Pennsylvania, Carla continued to work both in a clinical setting as well as from her own home-studio in Beaverton, OR. In 2014, Carla graduated from Oregon School of Massage and is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Oregon. This additional credential affords her the opportunity to use manual techniques to help clients improve their well-being and body awareness even further. After Carla and her husband left OR in 2016 to travel the United States in their motorhome, she had the opportunity to experience substitute teaching in a variety of Pilates studios, which led her to open her own Club Pilates in Pennsylvania. With over 20 years of experience, Carla educates and encourages clients on how to achieve their fitness goals while promoting a safe practice of physical activities. Her ongoing thirst for knowledge and dedication to receiving quality education offers her clients a unique, wide-ranging approach to fitness and well-being through Pilates and massage.

Ginny started taking Pilates classes in 2002 while working full time as a teacher in a local school district. She found Pilates to be an exercise program that she enjoyed because it was movement that provided diversity and didn’t exhaust the muscles. After failing at multiple Gym memberships, she finally found a program that worked for her and which she looked forward to doing. After retiring from her teaching career, Ginny decided to pursue two things she loved - teaching and Pilates. She completed her Peak Comprehensive Training and became certified in 2010 and began teaching Pilates. Ginny decided to enhance her Pilates education and enrolled in the training program at Body Precision. Having completed all the coursework for Level 5 Comprehensive Training, she has worked at several studios in the area before coming to Club Pilates. Ginny has a BS in Business Administration from Drexel University and a MS in Educational Technology from Rosemont College and she also has a Supervisory Certificate in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Joseph’s University.
Debbie has been doing classical Pilates for over 25 years, having found it instrumental in increasing her flexibility and strength and overall fitness, after health issues made it difficult to pursue other avenues. She has been teaching classical mat Pilates for over 15 years, following extensive training and certification with Body Precision in Rosemont. She subsequently trained there in all forms of equipment, receiving certification in 2013 in the classical study of equipment, beginner through advanced, having completed many workshops, passed written tests, teaching tests and performance tests at each level. She continues her own practice, taking classes, workshops and private study. She thoroughly enjoys teaching Pilates and has discovered a particular interest in the benefits of Pilates in clients with scoliosis. She also continues work as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer for DuPont Hospital for Children, which she has done for 30 years, having received her BHS in Cardiovascular Technology in 1989. She hopes to continue practicing and teaching Pilates into old age, knowing it will keep her strong and flexible.

Her entry onto this path came from a minor injury (sciatica), for which she is eternally grateful. In addition to being a certified Pilates teacher, she has her MSS from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research and is a registered yoga teacher.
