Along with a 12 year career in classical ballet, Meghan holds a Master's Degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Hahnemann University, received her comprehensive certification in Pilates from Body Precision Pilates in 2001 and her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training from Dhyana Yoga in 2014. Alison has always led an active lifestyle. She danced from an early age and has a minor in Dance from Penn State. She has also played various sports throughout her life. During her career as a traveling software consultant, she started exploring yoga and other mind-body practices to combat stress. At that time she was also an avid runner, and a dance related knee injury left her feeling increasingly imbalanced. Having danced, she had always heard of Pilates, so she decided to give it a try. Within a short period of time she felt stronger, more balanced, and became hooked. In 2005 she completed her Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Mat training in Annapolis, MD through Power Pilates, a classical training program. The following year she completed her comprehensive equipment training and began teaching around the Washington, DC area. In the years since she has also taught barre and various core fusion style classes. She hopes to help her students achieve greater body awareness, improve strength, and realize their bodies' fullest potential! When not teaching she is busy with her husband, three children and beagle.
Kimberly was first introduced to Pilates by her sister when she was in high school. While in college she began taking mat and barre classes at a studio in Central Pennsylvania. In 2014, Kimberly began attending equipment classes in addition to her Mat Pilates practice. As a social worker, Pilates was not only a great form of exercise, but also a stress relief. After moving to the Malvern area, Kimberly began attending Club Pilates Frazer, and was trained through Club Pilates Teacher Training. Kimberly recently was promoted to Assistant General Manager and continues to teach classes in her new role at the Frazer studio. Pilates has been a great compliment to other aspects in Kimberly’s life- when she’s not in the studio, she enjoys activities like camping, hiking, and keeping up with her very active husband and dog.
