Liz began taking Pilates in 2002 and from the beginning was amazed by what the Pilates Method does for the body and mind. She has always been physically active with dancing, running, and yoga, but Pilates opened up a whole new outlook for her on exercise and the importance of core strength. Liz decided that she wanted to share this incredible method with others by becoming a certified Pilates Instructor. In 2004 she began training under Master Teacher Romana Kryzanowska in New York, a protégé of Joseph Pilates and Master Teacher Janice Dulak in Champagne, IL. With over 600 hours of training and observation Liz was certified through Romana’s Pilates in 2005. Since then, Liz has had the pleasure of teaching full time for over 10 years to many different clients of all levels including training Division 1 high school athletes as well as aspiring professional ice skaters. Aside from being a dedicated teacher she has remained a loyal student of the practice attending many workshops and seminars, as well as practicing the method daily. After having twins in 2014 she understands the importance of prenatal and postnatal Pilates and how much Pilates has kept her strong and agile running after two toddlers. Kelly discovered Pilates after 2 car accidents when her neck and back were at the weakest point. She was amazed at how quickly she gained strength and looked forward to every class. She was trained in the STOTT Pilates method and learned practically under an excellent mentor, her very own big sister who opened a studio in West Des Moines, IA in 2004. Having taught a variety of clients from ladies in their 80s to professional athletes, she is convinced that Pilates has a role in each person’s well-being, both physically and mentally. Having recently moved to IL with her husband and 3 children, she left 12 years of clients who became success stories and Pilates addicts for life. Once you know how great you can feel, you will never stop! Several pregnancies and excellent recoveries make her equally convinced that it is the most functional form of exercise around! She is so thankful to be a part of Club Pilates to offer Pilates to more people each day!

Early in her life, Beth fell in love with movement as a dancer, studying classical ballet, modern and jazz. She continued dancing up through college where she first learned about Pilates. After starting a family and taking time off from dancing, it was a running injury that brought her back into the studio where she found Pilates equipment classes. It was then when she dove into learning about the history and execution of Joesph Pilates' art of Contrology. After dedicating over 750 hours toward her training with April Seabold, who was trained at Village Pilates in Forest Park, Beth completed her classical, comprehensive Pilates certification in early 2017 and received her PMA comprehensive certification in 2018. She also has Barre Above training."
