Meet Your Master Trainer!

Sue Gann
Sue’s been in the fitness industry for 29 years as a Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Pilates Instructor and last five years as a Master Trainer for Club Pilates. She has graduated over 125 Comprehensive Pilates Instructors and has over 100 in the pipeline. She has an extensive background in clinical exercise and helping everyone “Do Pilates Do Life”. She’s passionate about helping students to their goals and continuing to help them grow after graduation.

ABOUT SUE

Sue has been in the Fitness Industry for over 28 years. She is a fitness hybrid mixing personal training, group fitness, yoga, cycling, and pilates to help others in fitness.

Her personal training certification is from ACE, group fitness from AFAA, and a comprehensive NCPT (PMA) Certified Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates Instructor. Among many other fitness disciplines she holds certifications with Trigger Point, Bosu and TRX and is a Biomechanics Coach, ACSM Cancer Exercise Trainer and a Pink Ribbon Pilates Specialist.

As a Master Trainer for Club Pilates Sue was included in the list of Top Ten Master Trainers for 2018 and voted Instructor of the year for Club Pilates North Raleigh 2018. She has graduated over 125 Comprehensive Pilates Instructors and is currently mentoring approximately 90 more at this time to their 500 hour certification graduation.

She began teaching Pilates thirteen years ago and has taught Pilates mat and equipment at Wake Med Hospital, the YMCA, Health Trax and UNC-Rex Hospital Health & Wellness Center. She has extensive knowledge, education and experience with exercise and most clinical conditions including but not limited to pre and post natal, oncology, spinal conditions, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, menopause and osteoporosis.

Sue is passionate about helping our country get healthy and fit again. She works everyday in some capacity to help new instructors learn quickly and safely, how to help others with Pilates and fitness. When she’s not working she loves spending time with her husband and two adult son’s and their families, hiking, biking, paddleboarding and just having fun;)
