Meet Your Master Trainer!

Erin Etienne
Erin is a BASI, Polestar, and NPCP Certified Instructor with over 25 years of experience practicing and teaching Pilates. In 1997, she began studying Pilates with Master Pilates Teacher and Movement Educator, Elizabeth Jones-Boswell in Houston, Texas to rehabilitate herniated discs in her back. As an equestrian for over 20 years Erin relied on Pilates to strengthen her body for training and showing her horses. In 2011, Erin chose to make her love of Pilates her life’s work in helping others the way Pilates has helped her. Erin is a Certified Neurological Specialist, and has completed training in Neuroanatomy and Parkinson’s studies through The Neuro Studio. She has also completed the Critical Reasoning for Rehabilitation and Post-Rehabilitation with Brent Anderson, PhD, PT, OCS, and founder of Polestar Pilates. Erin is a certified Barre Above, TRX, and FMT+ Mobility Specialist. She has also mentored numerous Pilates instructors as Lead Instructor at Club Pilates.

Erin Etienne

Erin is a BASI, Polestar, and NPCP Certified instructor with over 25 years of experience practicing and teaching Pilates. In 1997, she began studying Pilates with Master Pilates Teacher and Movement Educator, Elizabeth Jones-Boswell at Houston Pilates to rehabilitate herniated discs in her back. She has turned to Pilates numerous times for rehabilitation of various injuries through her years of Pilates practice. Erin also relied on her Pilates practice to keep her in shape for training, showing, and breeding her horses for over 20 years. She also utilizes her extensive movement training through her equestrian background in her Pilates teaching and practice.


In 2011, Erin chose to make her love of Pilates her life’s work in helping others the way Pilates has helped her. She has started several Pilates programs at fitness clubs and studios, including a high school football training and rehabilitation program in Texas. Due to her love for the rehabilitative aspects of Pilates, Erin has become a Certified Neurological Specialist, as well as completed Neuroanatomy and Parkinson’s training through The Neuro Studio. She has also completed the Critical Reasoning for Rehabilitation and Post-Rehabilitation with Brent Anderson, Ph.D., PT, OCS, and founder of Polestar Pilates.
