Meet Your Master Trainer!

Liza Allen

Liza has taught nearly every group fitness format as well as individual fitness training. Through the years I have obtained fitness certifications from ACE, AFAA, Barre Above, Triggerpoint, Mad Dogg Athletics, NASM, Nautilus, PhysicalMind, Pilates Method Alliance (now NCPT), TRX and others. I have also taught a variety of classes for the Maricopa Community Colleges over the last two decades including fitness, jazz, ballet, performance, stress management and healthful living. She loves to learn and especially enjoy taking difficult concepts and making them attainable for others. Teaching Pilates (both mat and equipment) in various environments has deepened my understanding of the mind-body connection and inspired further investigation. Pilates has been the one format that she has taught consistently since first beginning to teach the method in 1995. Liza has developed and created content for an asynchronous online Pilates course at Mesa Community College and most recently, became a Master Trainer with Club Pilates.
A native of California, Liza sometimes daydreams of the beach but has since made Gilbert, Arizona her home. In her downtime, you'll find Liza hiking in the desert, however, her past time of choice is spending time with her daughter Abby, and snuggling Milo the cat and Poppy the pug.
