Chantel grew up as a competitive dancer and attended a school of visual and performing arts, where she was first introduced to Pilates in her Ballet 101 class. After leaving the dance world and moving abroad to Malawi, Southern Africa, she discovered a passion for teaching dance and choreographing large productions. Wanting to share her love of movement with the community—especially with women who had no safe place to move—she became certified in mat Pilates.
After 10 years abroad, Chantel returned to Canada, completed her comprehensive Pilates certification, and began her journey with Club Pilates. She brings a unique balance of body knowledge, an eye for detail, creative variations, a love for props, and a passion for thoughtful cueing. Her professionalism, experience, and kindness empower her students to feel strong, confident, and inspired while continually learning and growing in their Pilates practice. As a teacher trainer, Chantel guides students through movement shapes while layering in body alignment, cueing techniques, and Pilates principles—empowering them to feel confident and fully prepared to begin teaching.
