Meet Your Master Trainer!

Cory Bufkin

Cory Bufkin began her ballet training over twenty years ago with the pre-professional ballet company, Central West Ballet. Growing up in central California, she had the opportunity to advance her ballet training with ballet schools such as American Ballet Theater, The Rock School, Contra Costa Ballet, and the Joffrey Ballet. After training in New York with the Joffrey and performing professionally with Inland Pacific Ballet, Cory returned to school. After receiving her AA from Chaffey College, she continued her training at UC Irvine where she received her BFA in Dance/Performance. While at UC Irvine, Cory discovered her passion for Pilates. In 2008, she became a certified Pilates instructor from Studio du Corps with Diane Diefenderfer. Studio du Corps is a classical studio where she learned to teach the Pilates Method with a Ron Fletcher influence. Cory is certified to teach Pilates Mat, Reformer, Chair, Cadillac, Ped-o-Pull, Barrel, and all props. Cory has been teaching Pilates to students of all ages throughout Southern California for over ten years and is passionate about creating strong, healthy bodies. Throughout her years teaching, Cory has continued her education. She is certified in Yoga, Cardio Sculpt and Barre, as well as recently becoming a FLX Conditioning Specialist with Flexistretcher. Pilates is the perfect complement to anybody’s routine. Cory’s teaching style focuses on strengthening, aligning, and challenging her clients with both ballet influence and Pilates techniques.
