Talia
Instructor
Talia has always loved fitness. Growing up in Northern California, she swam, did cardio kickboxing, and earned a black belt in Taekwondo. After college, Talia moved to San Francisco to work as a financial analyst, but always knew finance wouldn't be her career. So after several years at her desk job, Talia packed up her apartment and left to volunteer in Nepal and travel around Southeast Asia. A life-changing year abroad led Talia to Chicago's intensive French Pastry School and she soon began working in the pastry kitchen of a high end restaurant/hotel. It was while working in pastry that Talia achieved her first of three yoga certifications. She loved that teaching yoga relieved the stress that came from working in a kitchen, while simultaneously keeping her strong and flexible. Talia loved teaching so much that she left pastry and started teaching yoga full time in 2015. But as someone who craves learning, Talia knew she wanted to delve deeper into the fitness world. So, in early 2017, she underwent the Classical Pilates certification at Fitness Formula Clubs and has been teaching Pilates ever since. Talia joined Club Pilates in 2018 and loves the energy of the group environment. She teaches a challenging, quick-flowing, and well-balanced class and aims to help every client leave feeling strong and successful. When she's not teaching, Talia takes care of her young daughter.
