After many years of working out and trying every aspect of exercise, Amira started pilates with the mindset of getting in shape. She had been in the mindset of losing weight all throughout her years of exercise but once she began pilates she felt as if it were more than just losing weight. She fell in love with the way pilates helped her not just physically but mentally as well. It became more than just an exercise, it was a lifestyle. Amira’s goal is to help others feel the same way she does now, to learn about themselves, their bodies, the exercises, everything to make them feel better and more confident in themselves. Pilates helped Amira with her flexibility, balance, mind muscle connection, back pain, and most importantly the mental aspect of it all. Becoming a Pilates instructor was one of Amira’s bigger accomplishments, while being a full time mom of 4 kids, it wasn’t easy learning all of the muscle groups, and putting her full time into learning to become an instructor. But at the end of the day it was all worth it for her since she is doing what she loves and teaching others to do the same.
