I found fitness in 2015. It was something I had always been interested in, but like many, didn't know where to start and didn't want to look foolish in a gym figuring things out. I have been lucky to have a brother who found fitness years before myself and trained me for about three years and is still introducing me to new exercises today. Strength training changed my life physically but also helped me manage stress and pushed me to move through my own mental battles. At my strongest, I was able to squat 185lbs ๐Ÿ™ˆ In 2018, I stumbled across Pilates thanks to my dear friend and fell in L O V E with this movement. So much so that I decided to pursue a 500-hour Pilates certification in late 2020. After 2.5 years of dragging my feet, I completed that certification ๐Ÿฅณ I have tried yoga, cycling, HIIT and kickboxing but can say with certainty that my two favorite exercises are strength training and Pilates ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿงœ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
