Katie is a California Native and former cheerleader and competitive dancer. As a retired competitive dancer who was used to moving her body hours on end everyday for over 9 years, she struggled to find a form of movement that was not only beneficial, but that she truly enjoyed. After trying her first Pilates class she was instantly hooked as it shares some of the same fundamental elements of dance such as flow, precision, and control. Through Pilates she has been able to reconnect to her roots as a dancer and also see a transformation in her body and mind. She is excited to teach and help others discover joy through Pilates.
