Reed’s journey with Pilates started over a decade ago in Chicago. After seeing how much it changed her posture and core strength, she devoted herself to regular practice. Now, years later, she is a strong proponent of practicing Pilates as not only a way to care for your body, but an excellent way to tend to your emotional and mental well-being as well. She has experienced firsthand the benefits that Pilates can have on anxiety and depression and she’s ready to support others as they move toward both mind and body healing through movement. Reed is comprehensively certified with Balanced Body and holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia College Chicago. A Michigan native, she recently relocated from Nashville and is excited to rediscover Detroit and the surrounding areas. She enjoys trying out different Thai restaurants, going to concerts and watching movies with friends.
