I started my Pilates journey in the year of 2019 and quickly fell in love with it! Pilates is a method of physical exercise and stretching, which uses your own body weight to perform it, and has several benefits for practitioners. When we talk about body definition, for example, we don't forget to associate it with the practice of Pilates, since this is, without a doubt, one of the most effective types of physical exercise, in my opinion, that achieves the best results for this purpose.
These were my main goals when I started practicing Pilates! Over time I discovered its benefits better and became even more fascinated by the practice! Today I also believe that Pilates goes far beyond physical activity; its main characteristic is to expand the practitioner's body awareness, integrating the body with the mind and spirit. I understand the theory of Joseph Pilates, creator of the method, who “ Believed that poor health is rooted in bad posture, shallow breathing, and a lack of physical exercise.” I enrolled in the Pilates Teaching Training program at the beginning of the year of 2022, starting my journey as a Pilates instructor at the end of the same year! I have Pilates as a philosophy of life and I love teaching this practice, helping many clients achieve its benefits.
