Jennifer originally found pilates to offset injuries while teaching yoga and running De La
Sol Yoga in Hamilton with her co-founder and business partner. Pilates was a perfect
complement to the physicality of teaching classes full-time. After covid and life changes
took her away from teaching for many years she re-discovered the benefits of Pilates to
heal a nagging shoulder injury. Within a month the injury was gone, and so were the
aches and pains of getting older and working in the restaurant industry. She also
rediscovered her passion for sharing her love of functional movement with people.
What appeals to her is that Pilates is accessible to any population and an all-around
valuable practice to incorporate into any lifestyle. Jennifer has been a yoga teacher for
over 20 years and is certified in Barre training.
