Courtney Carpenter
Regional Leader & Studio Connector
Hi, I’m Courtney! I grew up in Michigan and moved to Chicago for college, where I began my career in the fashion industry. I loved the creativity and energy of that world, but over time I found myself craving something that felt more grounding. I turned to yoga as an outlet—a way to step back from the hustle and reconnect with myself. It became such an important part of my life that I earned certifications in both Power Yoga and Hot Yoga, and that passion ultimately set the stage for everything that came next.
During that time, I met my husband, and after we had our daughter, Lucy, we decided it was time for a slower pace and a stronger sense of community. We left the big city behind and made Asheville, North Carolina, our home. Not long after, I joined Club Pilates in 2017, helping open the first studio in Biltmore Park. Wanting to deepen my understanding of the Pilates method, I completed the Club Pilates 500-hour Comprehensive Teacher Training program in 2018, which gave me a whole new appreciation for the precision, strength, and mindfulness behind the practice.
What started as a new chapter quickly became a calling—I now oversee five studios across Asheville and Greenville, SC, and feel so grateful to work alongside an inspiring team and a vibrant, supportive community of members. I truly believe movement changes everything. I love all forms of fitness—Pilates, yoga, HIIT, and even CrossFit—but Pilates will always be the foundation that supports it all. It’s the one practice that keeps me strong, grounded, and able to do everything else I love.
Outside of the studio, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen trying a new recipe, curled up with a good book, catching up on wellness podcasts, or diving into a home décor project. Even though I sometimes miss the buzz of city life, Asheville has become home—the community, the mountains, and the slower pace are exactly what I didn’t know I needed.
