TESSA
Instructor
Tessa has lived all over the world, from Abu Dhabi to New York, but she remains a Connecticut native at heart. Wellness has always been a guiding principle in her life. She was an NCAA Division II lacrosse player at Southern Connecticut State University, where she earned her B.A. in Psychology. After graduation, she moved to New York to pursue a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology at NYU-Abu Dhabi.
During her time in New York, Tessa discovered Pilates, which quickly became a grounding practice. When she later moved to Abu Dhabi, Pilates remained her constant source of balance. Drawing on her background in psychology and athletics, she found deep healing through her Pilates practice. Tessa is passionate about meeting clients where they are and ensuring that each session leaves them feeling supported both physically and mentally. She is committed to fostering holistic well-being by integrating movement, mindfulness, and care into every aspect of her teaching.
