Eden Hughes

Movement Specialist
Meet Eden Originally from Asheville, NC, Eden brings a lifelong love of movement and artistry to her teaching. She holds a double BA in Dance Performance and Arts Administration from UNC Greensboro and is a Comprehensively Certified Balanced Body Instructor, currently completing her Pregnancy and Postnatal Corrective Exercise Specialist certification. Eden was first introduced to Pilates through her ballet training as a form of cross-training and injury prevention. The transformation she experienced—both in her performance and how she felt in her body—was undeniable. She’s been hooked ever since and has now been teaching for over eight years, blending her background in dance and movement science into every class. Her teaching style focuses on flow, functional movement, and strength building, helping clients move with ease and confidence in everyday life. Eden’s classes emphasize balanced, intentional work that translates beyond the studio, empowering clients to understand their body mechanics and develop sustainable, efficient habits. She believes movement should feel good—and be fun! Eden’s favorite part of teaching is watching people fall in love with exercise and discover just how capable their bodies truly are. She loves teaching at Club Pilates for its supportive community and the joy of seeing clients grow stronger, more confident, and more connected to their movement every day. Outside the studio, Eden dances professionally with the Asheville Ballet. When she’s not teaching or performing, you’ll find her hiking with her husband and puppy, crafting, reading, or learning to quilt. Motto: “Get your hopes up—good things are around every corner.”
