Jennings Garry
Movement Specialist
Meet Jennings
Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, I’ve called Asheville home for the past 30 years. After graduating high school, I attended Appalachian State University. I grew up constantly moving—outdoors from dawn until dusk—and that early love of movement shaped everything that followed.
My passion for the human body led me into nursing and eventually to becoming a certified nurse midwife. Pilates became the perfect way to blend my clinical background with my love for movement. I am certified in Balanced Body Mat and Reformer and have been teaching Pilates part-time for eight years while also working as a nurse educator.
My teaching philosophy is simple: every body is unique, and movement should honor that. As an instructor, I see myself as a guide—helping each client discover the way their body moves best so they leave feeling better than when they arrived. Pilates has supported me as a runner and helped me stay strong while exploring the mountains of Western North Carolina and beyond.
I love teaching at Club Pilates because it’s a truly positive, inclusive environment where anybody can show up and feel successful. I’m excited to share my passion for movement and partner with clients in a way that supports their goals, dreams, and overall well-being.
Personal Motto: Freedom through movement.
