Meet Jill Originally from the suburbs of New York City, Jill is a retired high school Spanish teacher with a Master’s Degree in Spanish Education. After retiring and moving to North Carolina in 2021, she joined Club Pilates as a member—and quickly fell in love with the practice. Missing the joy of teaching and connection, she decided to merge her passion for movement and education by enrolling in the Club Pilates Teacher Training Program. Now a Comprehensively Certified Instructor, Jill has been teaching for nearly two and a half years at Biltmore Park. As a self-described “mature instructor,” Jill focuses on balancing challenging, purposeful movement with ample stretching and mindful recovery. She enjoys keeping her classes fresh by incorporating something new or unexpected into each flow to keep clients engaged and growing. Her goal is for members to leave class feeling strong, clear-headed, and proud of what they’re doing for their bodies. Every session ends with a thoughtful quote—tying the experience back to the mind-body connection that makes Pilates so transformative. Jill’s favorite part of teaching is watching clients progress—especially those returning to movement after injury, surgery, or long breaks. Seeing them rebuild confidence, strength, and body positivity is what fuels her passion for teaching. Outside the studio, Jill enjoys walking, reading, cooking for family and friends, and spending time with her two grandchildren, whom she helps care for three days a week. She also loves traveling and exploring new places whenever she can. Her guiding philosophy is simple: “Lead with kindness and keep an open heart and mind.” It’s a principle that shines through in every class she teaches.
