Meet Rhys Originally from Dallas, Texas, Rhys brings a strong foundation in movement and anatomy to every class. They hold a BFA in Dance Performance with a minor in Kinesiology, are comprehensively certified in all Pilates apparatus, and have completed additional training including a 50-hour prenatal continuing education, personal training, and TRX certification. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Rhys’s passion for movement and helping others discover their own strength shines through in every session. Rhys specializes in athletic, creative, and technically grounded classes that honor classical Pilates while incorporating a modern, dynamic edge. Their teaching philosophy is simple yet powerful: movement is for everyone. They believe every body deserves the opportunity to move safely, effectively, and with confidence — and they love helping students find that balance of strength, control, and awareness. One of Rhys’s most rewarding experiences has been working privately with prenatal clients, supporting them through all stages of pregnancy — even up to the days before delivery — and witnessing how Pilates positively influences their birth experiences. Outside the studio, Rhys is a lifelong ballet dancer and an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves camping, hiking, paddleboarding, and swimming during the summer months. When they’re not adventuring outside, you’ll find them cooking, baking, working on creative projects, or tending to their garden. Fun fact: Rhys is an Irish twin, has been a vegetarian/pescatarian since age six, and is second cousins with Kenny Loggins!
