Kari began formally teaching Pilates in 2011 having received her certification from Vitality Pilates in Seattle Washington. One of Kari's goals has always been to learn as much as possible about Pilates, physiology, anatomy and movement from as many sources as possible. She has studied both the Classical Pilates method and more modern forms like Stott Pilates. From 2014-2018 she also worked for a physical therapist, using Pilates and physical therapy to help people with their injuries or fitness goals. She has been vigilant with her continuing education attending various workshops such as a cadaver lab at Bastyr University, spinal safety workshops from physical therapists, and advanced Pilates training from Pilates master trainers. As a result of her extensive training her classes are well versed and provide a wide variety of options to accommodate beginning to advanced Pilates students.
Kari has been with Club Pilates since 2018. She is proud to be a part of such a wonderful community of lovely health-minded people that continues to grow.
