Cat Olchowy

Meet Cathryn (Cat) Olchowy, a passionate Pilates enthusiast whose journey into this transformative practice began after a life-altering car accident. Enduring chronic low back pain for a decade, Cat sought relief through physical therapy, which eventually led her to Pilates. Initially drawn to mat classes at the local rec center, her Pilates revelation occurred when only two people showed up for a mat class and the instructor introduced them to the Reformers! The sensation of strengthening and lengthening her body proved to be a game-changer, and within a few months, not only was her back pain alleviated, but a love affair with Pilates was born. Cat will tell anyone who will listen about the positive impact Pilates has had on her. From easing mundane tasks like carrying groceries to giving her the endurance to hike the Manitou Incline, the strength and vitality gained through Pilates radiates into every facet of her life. Away from the studio, Cat finds joy in experimenting with new recipes, reading, hiking, and challenging her mind with all types of puzzles. With a wanderlust spirit, she dreams of living abroad in the coming years, combining her love for travel with immersive experiences in different cultures. She has two grown children that you will occasionally see in class. Her teaching style is marked by providing specific visualizing cues, urging clients to consistently challenge themselves for continuous growth. Drawing inspiration from her own practice, Cat has found that this approach resonates well with members, fostering an environment of progression and improvement. Strong, Long and Lean is her motto!
