I’ve always had a passion for unique forms of exercise that are fun and challenging, but don’t feel like a chore. I am passionate about aerial silks and aerial yoga. I have competed in Irish dance. One of my greatest loves is water skiing as a member of the Sarasota Ski-A-Rees. I had a previous career with the medical examiners office that was emotionally taxing and time consuming, resulting in some neglect of my physical well-being. I needed a change and I made a big one! Using the athletic talents that I had built over years of physically demanding hobbies, as well as a history in the performance arts, my husband and I were hired to work as stunt performers in a live action stunt show at a theme park in Singapore. It was required to maintain peak athletic fitness to be able to have the endurance and strength to perform multiple shows daily. A woman in the company’s management connected me with a Pilates instructor there who ultimately became my mentor and inspiration to begin a career as a Pilates instructor. I was hooked. I loved how Pilates made me feel. Pilates complemented my life so well. It provided me with low impact strength and flexibility training that benefited my performance skills and aided in keeping me safe while doing the show’s stunts. As my husband and I decided to return to the US, I embarked on my Journey of training to be an instructor. I wanted to share Pilates with everyone I know. Since then, I became a mom and was able to use Pilates to help keep my body healthy during and after pregnancy. I enjoy sharing my love for Pilates while helping others improve their posture, flexibility, balance, strength, and self-confidence. My top goal is to help you find joy in your own wellness journey.
